Reunion at the Flying L: Part 1

The day after the last day of school (and the X Games) we drove to Bandera for a family reunion at the Flying L Ranch.  A few days before our trip, I showed the kids some pictures from the website, and they were particularly excited about the pool and the water park.   Later Claire was on the computer, and I found this Google search:


So yeah, she was pretty excited.  :)

We checked in on Friday afternoon and spent some time exploring the grounds.  The kids really enjoyed the playground and had their first mini golf experience.


There was a campfire after dinner with s'mores - Claire and I basically have a rule that we will never pass up a free s'more.

Then it was off to bed to rest up for the pool!
