Not going to name names...
...but someone would not stay in their bed last night and had to have their big girl bed switched back into a baby bed. This individual was not very happy about it, especially this morning. She's gotten used to being able to come into Mommy and Daddy's room and snuggle for a few minutes when she wakes up, and she did.not.like having the return of the bars. Hopefully someone has learned that they have to stay in bed and can go back to sleeping in a big girl bed soon. :)

Oh no! I have already bought a gate for AJC's door, but I've chickened out on taking the bars down. JTC never got out of bed on his own, but I know I won't be that lucky twice!
A-W-W!!! Hopefully she will get her big girl bed back soon and return to visiting and snuggling with Mommy and Daddy in the mornings.
It was a bummer. We don't mind her coming to our room in the mornings - it was the opening and closing the door every five minutes after putting her down for the night that did it. She's done that before, but always stopped after we went back there once or twice and told her she needed to stay in her bed. We felt bad after putting the side back up, but she went to sleep quickly. Hopefully we can change it back soon.
We haven't done the crib switch yet....but just got rid of the high chair and bought a booster seat. Madden has decided he wants to just sit in a regular chair and gets up and down throughout mealtime - which is horrible in the mornings for breakfast when time is critical. I am about ready to bring back the high chair.
Isn't this age fun???!!!! :) Such independance!
