Ma & Bob drove down to San Antonio for a visit the weekend before we left for Disneyland and San Diego. Carol and her family met up with us Saturday morning, and when our plans for a trip to Kiddie Park were rained out, we went next door to the Witte. As part of the opening for the robot exhibit, they had people dressed as characters from Star Wars. Claire and Will got to hold a couple of lightsabers (and immediately tried to start a battle), and Will got to hold a "blaster" in exchange for posing for a photo.
That afternoon, the weather was perfect for trying out the new kites that Ma brought for the kids. They were so excited to get the kites aloft and watch them wave around in the air (and sometimes crash!).

We all enjoyed their visit and were glad they were able to come see us!
